Epic Energy is owned by the Hastings Diversified Utilities Fund (HDUF), which was established to invest in utility infrastructure assets.

HDUF is managed by Hastings Funds Management, which is owned by Westpac. See diagram of the structure below.

HDUF group is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
